Jaz and I had a chilling out session at Esplanade terrace last night.
It's my favourite chill-out place.
It's quiet. It's breezy. It's the perfect place to relax.
During the week of New Year, there are also beautiful fireworks.
Too bad it's always packed with couples, it's not a good place for singles.
I haven't been there for quite some time but it still feels the same last night.
Last night, Jaz shared with me one of her analogies.
Getting into a relationship is just like boarding a bus.
To go to your destination, there's only 1 direct bus from your bus stop.
You've waited for quite some time and the bus still hasn't come.
Do you continue waiting for that bus? or do you take other buses first then transfer to another bus to reach your destination?
If you choose to take other buses, you will waste more time, more money, more effort but at least you are on the move.
If you wait for the only direct bus, you can enjoy the whole ride to your destination but you do not know how long more you have to wait.
true?
-----------------------------------------------------------
You took a bus.
Halfway to your destination, you are not sure if it's the right bus, you alight and take another bus.
You realise the second bus doesn't go to your destination.
When you decide to alight, that bus stop doesn't have your 1st bus.
You've LOST it and REGRETTED.
But you can never get it back.
The only thing you can do now is to CHERISH what you have.
