3 minutes of fame

This entry is dedicated to my 2 primary school buddies, Justin (JL) and Shaun (SL).

Hey both your surnames start with the letter 'L'.

Though we knew one another for like 10 years.. we only got closer last dec. Funny.. but luckily, it's never too late.
These are the 2 guys who stood by me during the hardest part of my life.
They accompanied me sing ktv from 12 - 5 am, They brought me (the mountain tortise) to places that I have never been. They asked me out often so that I wun be left alone at home and be depressed. They are always free for me!

Yesterday was feeling a bit bored.. so asked them out after dinner cos my mom has cooked my dinner. At first, I thought I could drive out and bring them for a spin.. but nah.. my mom didn't allow. So I guess we all have to wait for JL to get his license and buy his car, or for SL to be familiar with the roads in Singapore and his dad willing to lend him his car. So in the end, we met at around 10 pm outside my house. Sat in the garden outside for a while then went to explore my neighbourhood.. haha! Actually we wanted to buy some beer but most of the shops were closed so in the end, we went back to my house and I shared the choco I bought the previous day. Then we slacked at my living room, watching the results of Campus Superstar.

Then we switched it off, turned on the radio and started chatting again.. JL told me SL's secret! haha! oops! I was supposed to trade a secret too.. but I realised they knew everything I knew so... too bad.. Then I heard Peifen on 93.3 fm, asking people to call in to dedicate songs. So I picked up the phone and start dialling. I was just tryin for fun..cos it's not easy to get through..! But I made it!!! hahah! I was so excited!!! haha!

Yeah.. so I talked to Peifen..!!!! Haha! The conversation lasted for 3 minutes? We talked about my 21st brithday, my school and why there's 2 guys' voices in the background! Hahaa! I dedicated Shan Hu Hai cos I didn't plan what to say or dedicate and since this song is a must-sing song whenever we go ktv, I chose it.. But if I can choose again, I will choose Bu Xiang Zhang Da by SHE or Jian Dao Shi Tou Bu by Guo Mei Mei.

I was 'high' throughout the whole night.. hahah! I shall try calling again! This time I will plan what songs I want and who to dedicate to..

They left after the dedication was broadcasted cos JL had to go back camp at 8 am this morning! It was about 2 am when they left. They sacrificed their sleep for me.. and though they had to wake up early in the morning, they still came down to pei me.. and both of them walked home?!? Hee..paiseh.. but too bad, I cant drive.. if not I wouldn't mind sending you guys home.. I am so touched!! Thank you guys!!! :)
